Apparently the gods do not want A$AP Rocky to play in Toronto. The rapidly rising star cancelled a show in the city in October after Canadian authorities wouldn’t let him cross the border. On Monday, he was forced to cancel his make-up date after a bomb threat was phoned into the venue. Via Exclaim:
The show at the Sound Academy was intended to make up for an axed October date. But as AUX reports, things got dicey at the venue when police were called in before the show, and the doors didn’t open at 8 p.m., as promoted.
Concertgoers apparently got restless as they stood outside in line, with rumours swirling over the area that someone had been shot, AUX reports, but it was soon confirmed that a bomb threat had been placed. K-9 units were then sent in to sweep the building.
If we were the cops, we’d start by questioning SpaceGhostPurrp.
