Daily Swarm reader JR writes:

Just got home from a dope secret Beck show at the Echoplex (new place under the Echo). Band was Beck, Jason Faulkner, drums, bass, and NIGEL GODRICH on keys, laptop, effects, tambourine, and mucho cowbell! Nigel was going off! Dancing like crazy and playing the cowbell, Will-Butler-style (I think he’s the one who goes crazy with percussion onstage)...set list is below. And Beck’s wife and new kid were there (with those big kid ear protector mufflers). He’s about to go tour in South America so this was a warm up for that.

Daily Swarm reader NZ adds:

Nigel Godrich is now playing in the band on keyboards, laptop, melodica, etc. The current band has only been practicing for 4 days so they kinda ran out of songs to play.

The Echoplex isn't new... and Beck's Kid isn't new...but the lineup was - and Mr Godrich did rock out.

Fuckin' with my Head/Information/Paper Tiger - almost 20 years of great music blended together like he wrote them yesterday - gosh I love Beck.

I've seen a lot of sites listing Epro as the last song, what about the 4 song encore?? Encore: sissyneck > scarecrow, lord only knows, lost cause.
