Whatever Beyoncé attempts, she conquers. She’s tackled music, fashion (boy, do our House of Dereón jeans hug us in all the right places), and now, filmmaking. Mrs. Hova will be directing and executive-producing an autobiographical documentary. That’s right, Knowles is taking a giant leap, delving into what it is that makes her so very special. All snarkiness aside, the doc will most likely be pretty interesting, given B’s highly private existence ever since the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy, this past January. Via Pitchfork:
That might sound like typical celebrity PR fluff, but if the documentary is anything like Bey’s very intimate and gorgeously-curated self-documentation on Tumblr and her new Instagram, it will not disappoint. “It also captures the intense physical and emotional demands she goes through in the studio, preparing for live performances, running a business and her family life, including her return to the spotlight after the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, in January 2012,” the statement reads.
Watch Beyoncé discovering a tree. Sounds boring, but just try and deny that it’s one million times more interesting because it’s her.
