How does one of the finest indie rock labels in the world celebrate its 21st birthday? The answer is clear: By passing out on a hotel room floor after wolfing down shrimp cocktails. (What, too graphic?)
If you’re Matador Records, you also gather nearly every major artist from your roster, both past and present, and have them perform for three nights in Vegas. Which is precisely what the lauded record label is doing this weekend at the Palms in Sin City. We will be livestreaming the entire three day event at myspace.com/matador21 and will be re-airing, the next morning, for those of you who might not be around a computer each night.
