In what is undoubtedly the biggest thing to happen to Binbrook, Ontario since the opening of the Tim Horton’s last March, the world’s second-most-famous Canadian, Drake, will be filming a video at the town’s Shoppers Drug Mart later on this evening.

Located just outside of Hamilton – Canada’s answer to Cleveland – Binbrook has a population of roughly 3,000. Via Hamilton Spectator:

Store owner Brendan Enyinniah confirmed that his store was closing an hour early Thursday to allow a film crew into the store at 9 p.m. The booking for the video shoot was made through the head office of Shoppers Drug Mart in Toronto, he said.

Apparently other local business are looking forward to a projected boom as a result of the filming.

Hamilton singer Ginger St. James, who hosts a Sunday night open microphone at The Bin, told The Spectator the film crew had made inquiries about eating at the popular restaurant and pub, which is located near the Shoppers Drug Mart near the intersection of Hwy. 56 and Binbrook Rd.

Right now, all of Binbrook is screaming “Hell yeah, fucking right.”
