In April, newly-acquired Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard, then playing with Orlando, had back surgery to repair a herniated disk, causing him to miss the end of the season and keeping him off the US Olympic Team roster. While that would usually be cause for concern, Lakers fans can rest easy. Dwight says he’s healthier than ever thanks to a special physical therapy program, brought over from Korea. Via The Basketball Jones:
“Gangnam Style has helped me strengthen my core and lower back. I’ve got a great PT program, but this dance has taken me to the next level,” said Howard.
Dwight is such a big believer in the program, he’s recommended it to injured teammate Jordan Hill.
“The only way to go is Gangnam Style.”
If you listen carefully, you can hear Coach Mike Brown facepalming.
