All OG rap fans like myself know Guru and Premier have been fightin’ a quiet war for a long time. Gang Starr never officially broke up but these two former friends haven’t worked together or spoken since the release of their last album, Ownerz. Guru has a new producer buddy named Solar (not the French rapper) and is out hyping their new project when he made the mistake and told HipHopDX that “I Am Gang Starr.” EPIC FAIL.
