Rock Band celebrates some of the best music to ever grace our undeserving ears next week, with the Get the Funk Out 01 track pack.

The Get the Funk Out 01 track pack features three songs that are nearly synonymous with the funk genre. Even if you think you’ve not heard Earth, Wind & Fire’s “Shining Star”, The Average White Band’s “Pick up the Pieces”, or James Brown’s ”“Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine – Pt 1”, believe me, you’ve heard them. At this point in human history those three songs are infused in the core consciousness of our species.
