I feel morally sound that we shouldn’t be sued — I feel like the music’s transformative; it doesn’t negatively impact anyone. And there’s a thing called Fair Use that protects work like that. It’s definitely a concern, especially with the increased level of press this album is getting, but I feel sound about it and I think there’s a whole academic and legal movement supporting more creative and open exchange of culture and ideas.

His house of cards is going to come crumbling down. Doesn't he realize that his entire career is built on stealing others music. I don't care when he DJ's it in a live setting, but when he records it and sells the music, that's a different story.

My view is more simple: He feels confident that he won't get sued......rules of the universe say that he'll get served tomorrow.

p.s. He's used MIA, Nirvana, etc. right? Didn't know they were all poor, black, or dead (notable exception goes to Kurt Cobain). ;)

He's a preppy douche in need of a hard punch to the face.

Love the record, but the dude needs to own up. His 'samples' are entire verses and choruses [he def owes Kelly Clarkson or her songwriter a check]. I feel bad about his hardscrabble life as a bio-medical engineer, but don't hide behind art when you're just ripping someone else off.
