Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z have been working together a lot of late. The pair performed at the Grammy’s and during Super Bowl weekend, and Jay drops a guest verse on Timberlake’s new single.
Since they’re getting along so well, the two have decided to go ahead and make a tour of it, apparently. Via Gulf News:
We’re definitely going to go on tour,” Timberlake told the New York Post on the Grammy ceremony red carpet Sunday. “I don’t know how much I should say. ...It’s going to be a lot of fun, I know that.” Timberlake also tweeted on Sunday that his followers should be watching for “Big news coming out after Justin’s Grammys performance. Stay tuned or you’ll miss it.” That may, however, simply have been the announcement of his new single “Mirrors” that came on the heels of the show. There’s no confirmation yet from either artist’s camp on the reports, but Rolling Stone says sources involved in the negotiations have said that the stadium tour is in the works. Timberlake’s new album, “The 20/20 Experience,” including his comeback single, “Suit & Tie,” is due to be released on March 19.
Nothing has been said officially, but rumor has it the two are working on upwards of a dozen stadium shows.
