Jermaine Dupri’s run as President of Island Records Urban Music has come to an end after two years. According to our sources, he’s already out the door and an official announcement will follow shortly. Dupri was hired in February 2007 and oversaw Island’s entire urban operations, reporting directly to LA Reid.

He should have been fired on principle for allowing the release of Janet's album. And who, who picked that outfit and hairstyle? She looked like a clown on stage. She is no longer as young or thin as Ciara or Rhianna. Her music and style should reflect that.
