Whoa there, K-Dot! Kendrick Lamar just majorly threw down on the remix for Big Sean’s “Control” and ended up calling out a bunch of his contemporaries in the process. Mark our words, this could be the beginning of a glorious lyrical beef. Via Rap Fix:

UPDATE: the song has been taken down, but you can still listen on YouTube.

Kendrick goes for the throat, calling out his boys by name—no hard feelings though. “I’m usually homeboys with the same n——s i’m rhymin wit/But this is hip hop and them n——s should know what time it is/And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller/I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you n——s/Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n——s.”

He also proclaims himself “the king of New York” – this could get ugly.
