The death of David Brockie AKA the great and wise Oderus Urungus of GWAR is a devastating loss for music as a whole. There may never again exist an act that straddles the hard line between awesomeness and satire so effortlessly and Brockie, aged 50, was one of the main reasons. He was also the last remaining original member of the band, which began its weird journey some 30 years ago. Things will never be the same, but we can take pleasure in listening to one of his last interviews with Brockie. Via Blabbermouth:
