Although there has been no official announcement as yet, a close friend of the band, who knows Robert Plant, right, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham (son of original drummer John Bonham) well, says the talk is of a major 18-month world tour extravaganza.
The source, a fellow top musician who mingled with the group at the aftershow party, confides: “It will kick off at next year’s Glastonbury after Robert Plant has finished touring with American country star Alison Krauss.
Still buzzing from Led Zeppelin’s reunion show in London last week, drummer Jason Bonham says he’s the wrong person to ask about any touring plans for the British rock legends.
“I’m still the new guy, and I wouldn’t know,” said Bonham, who filled in for his late father, John Bonham. “Is it gonna be again? Don’t be greedy… If they do it again, of course I would love to. But that’s up to them. Only time will tell.”
Led Zeppelin tour rumors have persisted in recent weeks, with plenty of chatter about a series of stadium shows. But nothing has yet been confirmed, and singer Robert Plant has already begun scheduling late-spring shows with Alison Krauss.

I'm a 37 year old dad of three and was born the year Led Zeppelin I was released. The Zeppelin sound runs deep to many and for these guys to reunite and bring back the power & mysticism is a chance for many of us fans to experience it for the first time live. I will do everything to get a hold of a ticket but even if it weren't to happen I'd want the band to know how much we appreciate them coming back. I suspect they will let loose with a well rested and fresh energy that will blow us all away. Bring it on home Lads!
Wow. Another oldies show. I really want to get stoned & pay a ridiculous amount to hear recycled music from done-creating musicians.
...Brought to you by Viagra, Ducolax and Lifeline ('help me, my career has fallen and it cant get back up')
WOW LE Roi ,I bet you'd rather pay a ridiculous amount to hear some RAP crap or umo crap from copy cat heard it all before want ta be's; who deep down are the people that wish that they could have the "staying"power that led zepplin has and always will have .........................
At least Zeppelin aren't pretending to still be rocking 24/7 like the Rolling Stones are doing. Zeppelin's music is magic, and to see those guys performing songs from their legendary catalog is a million times better than anything else on the planet. Those guys don't need a tour to help their careers...their legacy is etched in stone, and if you don't get it it's probably best that way.
