Azealia Banks is not backing down from doing versions of other people’s songs after the bizarre “Harlem Shake” debacle. She’s shared her take on the Strokes’ “Barely Legal”, a standout from their now-seminal debut Is This It. The track was produced by Lindbergh Palace and premiered on New Zealand’s George FM. Azealia sings on the track; she doesn’t rap.

This isn’t Banks’ first take on an early-'00s NYC rock classic. Early in her career, she covered Interpol’s “Slow Hands”.
