YEAH! ANOTHER MASHUP!!! how original!~!!!
Wonderful. A new year and the recording industry starts it off with a resounding 'THUD!!' with this worthless Cleveland Steamer.
Just another glaring example and proving yet again, that the collective stupdity of the recording industry is surpassed ONLY by their incredible and mind numbing intellectual dishonesty and they get exactly what they deserve in spades.
In light of this latest example of this talentless garbage being forced/foisted upon the general public, the euphimisim "...the surest sign of insanity is doing the exact same thing over and over and over and each time expecting a different result" absolutely applies here.
It's hard for me to watch the "animal" that is the recording industry suffer so cruely and I'm hoping that someone walks up and puts a bullet in it's head to end it's suffering. It's the right thing to do.
Since we're not allowed to comment on Brian Eno's bullshit against Israel, I'll do so here.
Note to self, Brian: Shut the fuck up and stick to doing what you do best - produce some of the most inovative music and getting the very best out of the muscians you produce (U2) and leave the windbag vitriol to the professional windbags in Congress.
You know, it's funny how when the Jewish race was decimated by the holocaust, everyone felt bad and ran to their aid, but now they're back to being hated only because they're defending their country and themselves against the terrorist attacks coming from the Palestinians, Hezbola and Gaza and I'm not sure why. I can only guess that most of the world is anti-jew and only came to their defense because of the absolute horror they faced, but once they were back on their feet, it's time to start hating again and even more disgusting is that this imbecilic child and others like him are couching and their racisim behind some false wall of indignation.
So bottom line here, Brian, is that you keep your mouth shut on things you have no knowledge of, nor business even spewing forth your oral diahrea on and stick to producing and making music.
Everybody thinks they're a politician and while they don't even come close, they do, however, show that they have at least one thing in common: both are whiny, elitist and their collective stupidity is surpassed ONLY by their incredible and mind numbing intellectual dishonesty, the sole territory of the Democrat Party who proves on a daily basis that the 'Jackass' is the PERFECT mascot for said party.
"And the recording industry wonders why they're going out of business..."
@ TDS: WTF, why aren't you allowing comments on Brian Eno? If you're going to post the story (I'm glad you did) then why not open it up to comments? Is this what's become of us as a music-loving community? We can't be trusted to discuss a controversial topic? That's fucking weak.
@ thirteenburn:
Why shouldn't Eno be allowed to voice his opinion on the situation in Gaza? It's somewhat ironic that you reference the holocaust because the Nazi party was notorious for brutally suppressing dissent.
Finally, maybe you should give some consideration to the point of view that Israel's actions are becoming increasingly disproportionate? Even moderate voices within Israel are concerned. The only intellectual dishonesty here is the idea that any and all criticism of Israel must be rooted in anti-semitism.
That aside, you're obviously entitled to your opinion that Israel's actions are justified. But it's disturbing that you're telling people who disagree that they need to shut up. The last time I heard that sentiment it was from Bill O'Reilly, who felt I didn't have the right to question the need to go into Iraq. Just sayin.
I LIKED IT BETTER WHEN IT WAS CALLED RAINYDAYZ (AMPLIVE)!!!! JEW THIS, JEW THAT... BARF!!!!
what does eno have to do with jaydiohead.....its a good mashup of 2 of my favs, and to all the d-bags who dont think its original, wake up, 2 of the most original artist/groups of the current time period...
Minty Fresh is SIC....how is this not original...a mashup of 2 of the greatest artistic styles of our time....what does this have to do with eno, take all the d-bags off the site who dont understand you post comments under the correct story....FRUITCAKES!!!
