Despite spearheading the minimalist movement in the ‘60s (sorry, we meant to say “music with repetitive structures”), Philip Glass is still venturing to the outer bounds of music, even if he isn’t at the helm of the ship. The new Beck-organized remix album, REWORK_Philip Glass Remixed, is streaming over at NPR Music. In an interesting turn of events, the remix created by Oneohtrix Point Never was actually left off of the record due to who-knows-what because we think it’s awesome. You can listen to the album via NPR Music, but also be sure to check out Oneohtrix’ scrapped remix WFMU.
