Mitt Romney on Pussy Riot: 'If They Had Not Broken the Law, They Would Now… Be Doing the Housework'...
Sorry, NOT Mitt Romney. We just assumed, from the headline. It’s Vladimir Putin.
The Belfast Telegraph quotes the czar, referring to Pussy Riot, doing his best impersonation of Mittens:
“Whether the sentence was too much or too little is not for me to judge,” he said. “That is a matter for the court.” But he was characteristically firm: “If they had not broken the law, they would now be at home, doing the housework, or back at their jobs.”
