The New York rap producer Harry Fraud has spent the past couple of years building a serious name by releasing full-length collabs with a ton of different rappers and by crafting an aesthetic that walks the line between classicist NY boom-bap and head-blown psych-rock drift; his Danny Brown track “HottestMC” is an excellent recent example. And tomorrow, Fraud will release his own new mixtape Adrift, an EP-length odds-and-ends collection. One of its tracks is “Morey Boogie Boards,” an excellently stoned team-up with Action Bronson, who brings oblique references for days and raps them hard as all hell over Fraud’s amniotic organs and windblown guitars.
