Chris Brown may be an epic douchebag, but at least he’s a remarkably consistent douchebag.
Hot on the heels of his parking-spot related dust up with Frank Ocean, the Los Angeles District Attorney has accused Brown of faking the documentation proving that he did the 180 hours of community service that were part of his sentence following his assault on Rihanna. Via Contact Music:
As the Mirror quote, the DA cited “significant discrepancies indicating at best sloppy documentation and at worst fraudulent reporting” of the documentation handed in. Apparently, the detective put on the job to oversee his community service was told she needn’t “continue monitoring him” because Brown’s own mother could do it. Dodgy? Yeah, pretty dodgy.
Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, got very defensive about it and spoke to FoxNews to defend his client publicly as well as in the court room. “The D.A’s office has apparently lost their minds and apparently they can’t read their own reports which clearly state he did the work,” he said. “They are making scurrilous, libelous and defamatory claims against my client. They should be embarrassed.” Adding, “The whole thing is horsesh*t. It’s really beneath their dignity.”
We love that Chris Brown’s lawyer said “horseshit” in a statement to the press. You can tell why Chris Brown picked this guy.
