Canada’s capital has announced the line-up for its annual summer Bluesfest. Headliner B.B. King will be joined by such fellow blues legends as Wu-Tang Clan, Belle and Sebastian, Björk and Rush.
Wait, what? Via CBC:
The Icelandic artist will headline the second-last night of the Ottawa Bluesfest summer music festival on July 13.
She joins blues legend B.B. King, hip-hop collective the Wu-Tang Clan and Canadian iconic power trio Rush to headline the festival’s 20th edition.
The annual festival is scheduled to run from July 4 to 8 and then from July 10 to 14.
Confirmed performers also include Weezer, The Tragically Hip, Grand Funk Railroad, Fun, Tegan and Sara, Belle & Sebastian, She & Him and the Dixie Chicks.
Just so we’re clear, that’s a pretty solid line-up, but Jesus, does anyone else thing it’s time to change the name?
