In a pairing that feels like an MTV executive’s fever dream, teen soap star-turned-rapper Drake and reality star-turned-rapper Riff Raff are working on a song together. Via Pitchfork:

RiFF RAFF’s publicist confirms the information he’s been hinting at for a couple of days now: yes, he’s doing a song with Drake. This is an all-star team-up if we’ve ever heard of one. “SENDiNG MY VERSE OVER TODAY Drake OVO40”, RiFF RAFF wrote on Twitter last night, around the same time that Drake posted the above photo of the pair on his Instagram. (RiFF RAFF then posted another photo of himself with Drake and producer Noah “40” Shebib.)

It’s unclear whether the track will be a one-off, or it’ll appear on Drake’s upcoming abum Nothing Was the Same, or on RiFF RAFF’s proper debut studio album. It’s pretty satisfying to imagine Drake putting every kid in America who buys his album onto Jody HighRoller, so let’s just go with that for now.

Riff’s publicist has added that the Rap Game Michelle Kwan has also been working on a song with A$AP Rocky.
