Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has said that the band will be playing warm up gigs in 200 and 300 capacity clubs, likely using their Cockroaches alter ego, in the next few weeks in anticipation of their upcoming gigs in New York and London. Via NME:
Speaking to NME, guitarist Ronnie Wood said the band may perform under their Cockroaches guise in breaks from rehearsing Paris. Speaking about the veteran band’s rehearsal schedule, he said: “We’re all making a concentrated effort of being there on time every day, we start at three o’clock in the afternoon, we go through to dinner time, we have one break and so far everything has been [like] an operation, nose to the grindstone.
