You have to give it up to Shyne. For a man who hasn’t been musically relevant in roughly a decade, he does a good job of keeping his name circulating. Yesterday, he took to Twitter to voice his opinion on Kendrick Lamar’s new release, Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City. As you might imagine, his take on the record was less than positive. Via Hypetrack:
Shyne Po might have a bright future in music journalism with his controversial “album reviews” as of late. Last night, he was back at it once again to express his dismay towards another high profile hip-hop project. If you recall two weeks ago, Shyne also had some choice words in regards to Ross’s Black Bar Mitzvah project. To his defense, he is entitled to his opinions and last night, he once again exercised his freedom of speech and called Kendrick Lamar’s debut album “traaaaash!”
Does anyone else think Shyne is just becoming hip-hop’s weird, cantankerous uncle?
