The language is called Farsi, not Persian. A dash of cultural knowledge when penning a story as socially significant as this, would be a nice touch.

Hey El Chivo... Relax. Persian is a fairly common term not (necessarily) degoratory as you suggest, tho Farsi is the term more commonly used by Iranians.
