18 hip hop acts on the bill, if this event is over 5 hours it would be painful
3 hours of mic checks, 1 hour of flimflam/hypeman, 1 hour of music
Tribe and Pharcyde are reuniting!!! Why is rock the bells only in ten cities? There are hip hop heads nation wide not just in the northern states (except Miami). Dallas/Austin/Houston would love to be one of the stops for the show.
wonder how long it will take for the guns to come out poppin?
wow. all on one stage? 2 songs per set?
I love tribe, but I think brother mayhem is on the button
Love hip hop but hate hip hop shows. I LOVE when ALL of the members of a group sing each guy's lyrics at the same time. :rolls eyes: Is Tribe and Pharcyde really able to attract ticket buyers? These guys are pretty far from their popular days..
I've been to these shows before and they have 2 stages, so each act actually does play for 45-90 minutes. The mic checks don't last nearly as long as many rock festivals I've been to (like Coachella, where there's always one jackass band that takes 30 minutes to sound check). If the LA date is anywhere else but San Bernardino, then I am there.
count me in for nyc
remember when mos def was underground lol. this is like a dave mathews concert with bass.
What a great lineup. Too bad hip hop concerts are always HORRIBLE.
