In continuation of our ongoing “Harlem Shake-gate” coverage, Azealia Banks has posted an email allegedly from the producer in question, Baauer. The email completely contradicts Baauer’s previous statement on the matter. So, – if it is real – somebody’s got some explaining to do. Via Pitchfork:
In the interview, Baauer explained, “She laid something on 'Harlem Shake’ and it was so/so. Didn’t love it.” Now, Banks has posted an email (as she promised she would), allegedly from Baauer, which contradicts that sentiment.
