Daft Punk Halloween Costume Contest: It's On!
TDS Editors

UPDATE: Winners announced here.
Happy Halloween, y’all. The first entries into The Daily Swarm Daft Punk Halloween Costume Contest have started coming in, and while all of the photos we’ve received so far have been really impressive, for the moment the pair to beat are these two girls from Wisconsin who made quite the impact over the weekend at Vegoose.
Keep ‘em coming (send your photos to daftpunkcostume-AT-thedailyswarm-DOT-com). We’ll keep updating here until Monday, Nov. 5 when we pick the winners.

oooh my god!!, these girls rule!!, how they came with this perfect helmet replicas?!?!?!, i hope they can give us a tip or an entire guide about how to make this awesome helmets, they are the best i've seen!!
Those girls ended up spending around 500 dollars making those helmets. i guess it shows dedication to the cause, buts its just too bad when good ideas are wasted on shitty people.
Shout to them hot dudes in those sexy dp jackets (sam, ethan yall know its true)

The two guys on the couch near the bottom made some really nice helmets... too bad they didn't put any effort into the outfits, could have been a really impressive costume.
That one Guy-Man costume has an ed banger shirt on! Nice!
i think the two guys in the ed banger tees did a fabulous job on their helmets. probably if i saw them, i would've mistaken them for the real thing or something :]
Those last ones are fantastic! Did you vacuform the faceplate for the gold one or were you actually able to find something in the correct shape?
Its Nov 6th, whats the deal?
when will the winners be announced?
I saw two guys on the corner of 14th Street and 1st Avenue wearing "Daft Pumpkin" costumes. I wish i was smart enough to grab a photo of them....but it all happened so fast!
What is taking so long?
those girls were across from me at vegoose those helmets are way too cool
What the shit is taking so long?
It's been much too long, I feel it comming on
The feeling is getting strong
But seriously, its 5 days later, when will the winners be announced?
I'm guessing they did something with all of those replica helmets after filming "Daft Punk's Electroma."
eBay treasures, I must say.
I was just about to say that I saw those girls at Vegoose, too. I remember they were walking in front of the stage, and everybody thought it was really Daft Punk and started cheering for them. lol
what DID they do with all the helmets from electroma? they couldn't have been sold on ebay or we would've heard SOMETHING about it. maybe they're still floating around... MAYBE WE CAN STILL GET SOME!!!
So, who won?
check mine out! not as cool as a lot of others though.

How did you make i would love to know seriously!!!! thats awsome i envie that sooo much but please tell me!
wtf, all ur helmets are so weak...
I wish we could see a picture of the chicks underneath those helmets... all that leather is HAWT!!!
YAYAY ha i noticed one of the daft girls has on a ed banger milk cred shirt =] to cool i love them
the last two were the best ones.well,my opinion.
Shits Weak, my buddy made daft punk helmets, he put an eq in the gold one and it moved when he talked, the other one had an led scroll that you could program from an arm band. Took him like a week, made gloves with metal pads and put lasers in the fingers. shit was so cash.
Some of these should have left the concept of making their own helmet as just an idea you think about during a boring day at work. Most of these just flat out suck. Let Daft Punk wear the helmets, the rest of you just listen to the music. Like seriously, a cardboard box, really now.
