Justice unplugged...

What’s missing in this picture?

UPDATE: Justice respond (via Beatportal…)

Yesterday we published a photo revealing Justice’s Gaspard Augé to be using a MIDI controller that wasn’t plugged in, and now they’ve responded to the allegations that the duo fake their live sets.

“I couldn’t remember the city but I think it was in Manchester,” he said.

“I didn’t notice at first, because as you can see I was looking at the computer to launch the next vocal hook and right after I realised that the blue screen went black, so there was no way possible it could work. So I plugged it back in, big deal! And the next thing you know is this picture.”

I guess we’ll never know if that’s a fib or not.

Unfortunately, I don't know that his explanation adds up. The back panel for the Akai MPD24 there is missing its power cable, as well as any USB, MIDI Out, and MIDI In they he may have been using (or should have been using). It doesn't make sense, though, that they would not remember to plug in the instruments even if they were faking. Even Millie Vanelli had that shit down.

the mpd24 can be powered via usb and usb cables slipping out of control surfaces is far from unheard of.

I know one of the roadies... he told me Gaspard is not really doing much live... which seems to be proven here. But another thing is, that the Marshall amplifier walls... well, they are fake! Nothing inside, empty. But sure looks impressive....

The MPD to work needs only the usb cable for power and data, and the cable can come off easily!

"Gaspard is not really doing much live..." WHO CARES???

The shows are just to make some cash as this stupid bloghouse generation doesn' t buy records anymore but download (steal) crap mp3s
