[Thanks to Daily Swarm reader CB for the shots]

Linkin Park played a six song midnight set at the Apple store in Soho, New York this morning. This was the not-so-secret show inadvertently announced by the band yesterday. As Ars Technica accurately guessed, the intimate set for 200 radio contest winners was recorded for a future iTunes release. The set list was:

“Wake”
“Given Up”
“Shadow of the Day”
“My December”
“In Pieces”
“Bleed It Out”

Linkin Park headlines Madison Square Garden tonight.

Billboard: Linkin Park Rocks Apple Store At Secret Show:

Apple has hosted concerts at its New York store on several occasions, including performances by Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore, Kaki King, the New Pornographers and Simian Mobile Disco. But Linkin Park is by far the most recognizable act to appear here to date.

Sources say additional A-list acts will play the store in the days to come.
