RZA to Star in Next Judd Apatow Film...

TDS Editors

Nothing so much as the Wu-Tang Clan’s “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)” reminds us of Judd Apatow’s indie and treacle feel good films – both are filled with weed references, right of passages, and…well…that’s all we got. So it makes perfect sense sorta that Wu-Tang’s resident Genius, The RZA is co-starring in an upcoming comedy by writer/director Judd Apatow (“40 Year Old Virgin,” “Knocked-Up,” “Pineapple Express”) in a new movie called “Funny People,” The flick, about a famous comedian who has a near-death experience, will star Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and Leslie Man and slated for summer. RZA, as many cinemafiles will remember, appeared in Jim Jarmusch’s “Ghost Dog” and more in Ridley Scott’s “American Gangster.

Maybe money really does change everything.
