Do. Not. Want. Dude's got pipes but just doesn't have the tone for the heavier rock stuff, although he does okay on the ballads.
Bring back Soto. Seriously.
this is so very weird. if we cant have steve perry, then ellen should have been dancing all over the stage.
now that would have been an interesting performance. well, at least better than this.
wait, there's an asian guy fronting Journey now?
how weird.
hey guys....the asian man has pipes....and he is better than other two frontman of journey....lets face it....perry is old already he cant do the same thing he use to...for sotto....voice not good enough......just compare it....video to video...then you will see...
I wanna hear "Don't Stop Bereeving"
Soto?! Bring back Augeri! He sounded exactly like Steve Perry and looked like him, too!
They're all getting old. Journey will never be the same without Perry. No one can ever take his place.
He is Filipino not Asian. He's doing a fine job fronting Journey.
Not bad...And, at least they're NOT sponsored by
AARP ! Guess who is ?

Foreigner !
How bout I don't.
He is amazing, the vocals are impeccable. WIth due respect to Perry because I am a big fan, he is unable to get in that high range like Arnel could. That guy can sing with ease.... Rock on, Journey!
Comment to BC...
I have a few Filipino-American friends...and their not oriental sounding when they speak their mother touge (not that there's anything wrong with that) sounds more like broken hispanic tone. BUT Nonetheless this guy is amazing! They found him for a reason...
Steve Perry looks different. What happened?
Unbelievable indeed
Journey you have confirmed my belief that no one is indispensible not even Steve Perry. If you cannot work with the band there are equally or more talented people waiting. Let SP go his separate way. If you resist change you are history. Journey did not and that is the real reason Journey is still rocking today. Where and why have some of the greatest rock bands like the Queen, Led Zeppelin or the Who gone? These bands could still be rocking today if there are careful rejuvenation of the band. Just Do It like JOURNEY.
IF THE ASIAN GUY IS SO GOOD WHY IS IT WHEN I SAW HIM IN CONCERT HE DROPPED HIS MIC CONVIENTLEY WHEN A HIGH NOTE WAS COMING AND THE DRUMMER TOOK OVER THE WORDS. HE IS JUST A MIMICKER OF ALL SINGERS, HEART, LED ZEPPLIN, EAGLES, BOSTON. ECT. NO ARNEL WAS NO STEVE ITS LIKE SAYING LETS REPLACE MICK JAGGER, OR JOHN LENNON WHEN THE BEATLES WERE TOGETHER. JUST CAN'T DUPLICATE
