glad that Spank Rock is getting paid, but you have to wonder if any of the Wishbone folks have ever had the live Spank Rock experience

#3 t-bomb says:

dude. seriously?

#4 Dj Sae One says:

Does this song really appeal to the people whom they are targeting? Some creative thinks he's cool so he goes through all this and they pay a ton of money for something that holds no weight in the spot...silly

MIA's track on new bud light w/ lime spot, postal service for UPS, now this. Egad! It's the NASCARification of independent music!

Glad it can help folks can pay rent, but managers should be more selective with the brands they endorse...

#6 Yo says:

So how is this more respectable than, say, MC Hammer catching popcorn chicken in his mouth?

#7 jeff says:

yeah, i don't really think the track works at all with the commercial. but that some sexy veggie bumpin'.

#8 the dude says:

corporate america sometimes chooses to try too hard. but, guess what? did it not occur to you people that someone is licensing this shit out???!!!

#9 jk says:

The Bud Light spot is actually Santogold, not MIA.

this is awesome. get money spank

#11 christine says:

if only the rest of america knew the rest of the lyrics to "bump".....

That is terrible! So is using Santogold in the Bud Light Lime campaign. Does Santi White even drink that sh*te? I bet you wouldn't find her drinking that swill - more likely a Pabst or Stella or something in the hipster beer category. I know that this is out of the hands of the artists - the labels go and whore out the tunes to the advertisers without any explicit approval from their musicians. I just would hope some folks would block the use of their music for lame products. I mean I have no issue with people making money and even prostituting their music in television commercials but damn I would love to see artists getting behind the brands they really like and would actually use. Well maybe Spank Rock lathers his skanks with salad dressing... www.SKOPEMAG.com Peace

I never heard the original song of this (which people are saying is Nasty!) but so what. The music is enlivening and my only thought was that the music was too good to be wasted on a wishbone commercial.
